French Manicure

My French Manicure! <3
What you will need!!
Hey guys! It's Hannah with my first nail design!! This was done on my mom's hand. I like french nails because they look so simple, but elegant and go with any outfit! I decided to put a thin gold sparkly line under the white stripe so it looks fun and designy-ey...(if that's a word) :P I'm not the best at drawing straight lines, but I tried my best. Here is how to do this simple design in five easy steps!

You will need a white, gold sparkle, base and top coat, and a very thin paint brush, nail brush, ect.

1. First, you want to put a base clear coat for protection and the smooth out your nail for the polish.

2.Secondly, you want to get your white polish out and carefully drag it across the top of your nail as thick or thin as you like.
3.Then, you want to put top coat.

4.You want to take your thin brush out and dab it into the gold glitter polish and paint and thin line under the white strip.

5.Finally, you want to end it with a top coat, let it dry and BAM! Your done!! Now you have a french manicure! Enjoy painting your nails!  :D

First Photo

Here is one of my first pictures taken by me from my camera! This is money tree I have in my house for good luck. People believe that when money trees are great and healthy, they will have lots of money, but when it's dying and dead you will be poor and have little money. $$$ Everyone should get money trees even if you believe or not, because they are pretty plants! :)

Ricotta Heart

The other day when I was making lasagna I took the ricotta cheese out and while I was taking it out some fell out of my spoon and onto the floor. I looked down and to my surprise saw the ricotta cheese in a heart form!! <3 I was so surprised I got my phone and snapped a picture of it! It was awesome and probably a once in a life time thing!

It's a heart!!!

Hey guys! I thought you would want to know one of the food I LOVE making and eating...LASAGNA!! I love the cheesy taste to it! Here is how to make homemade lasagna and once you try this lasagna you won't want to see frozen lasagna ever again!

Note: This is before the lasagna was put in the oven!
Ingredients: Lasagna Noodles, Ground beef or turkey, Tomato or meat flavored sauce, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and parsley

  1. Meat sauce: Put oil in the medium fire pan and put ground beef, turkey or whatever your liking.
  2. Stir it around until fully brown.
  3. Drain meat to export excess oil and put back in pan (with no oil!)
  4. Turn fire down to medium low.
  5. Put a few pinches of salt, pepper, garlic powder, parsley or to your liking and stir
  6. Pour 2 bottles of meat sauce or tomato sauce into pan and stir with meat. Put cover on pan and let cook for about 10 to 15 min or to liking
  7. While or before cooking meat sauce boil a pot of water until boiled
  8. Pour a tsb of oil into pot and put 9 lasagna noodles into pot
  9. When finished cooking noodles get out your meat sauce, noodles, mozzarella cheese, and ricotta cheese

  17. ENJOY!

Old fashion Coke!

Hey!!! My brother was at Virginia for a few days and he brought me back a surprise...an old fashion coke bottle!!! I was so excited drinking from this unique bottle! It might sound dorky but it's the truth! Opening it you could hear the sizzling soda fizz up and drinking from it, it tasted better then from the regular bottle...but it's probably was in my mind! :P I wish they would keep selling these kind of bottles in restaurants and stores more often!

Wanton Tacos!

Hey guys! I was at Applebee's the other day and I was looking through the menu and I came across Wanton Tacos! I heard of them before, but never bother to try or research about them. I was really hungry when I first got the tacos and they looked delicious! Before I gobbled them up I needed to take a picture of them! The taste of them was so good like a taste of Mexico and Asia at the same time!! It tasted of different textures and flavors. Crunchy and chewy, sweet and savory and beautiful colors! I would definitely recommend this Wanton Taco!

Olympic 2012!

Hey guys! Any of you watched the women's olympic gymnastics lately?! It's sad it's done already, but congrats to the U.S. women's team for winning gold! I knew something was special about one of the five U.S. women Gabby Douglas. She seemed ready to take the gold home! Which in fact she did in the women's gymnastics all around! She is quite fascinating and fun to watch. She is also know as "The Flying Squirrel!" She is also the first African American women to win gold in the gymnastics individual all around which is a really big accomplishment. I hope to see her in the next Olympics!

(Fun fact: When you switch the letters around in her last name "Douglas," it spells USA gold! How cool and ironic is that?!)
